  1. Glad I saw this topic. I haven't played in quite a while due to school, but I'll be transferring over to Arkenstone soon! And what Nik said: "LOTRO will always have a fond spot in my heart as one of my earliest and much enjoyed MMORPGs."!
  2. Looks like a nice lead. Let's hope it stays that way. Good luck Rachelle and kids!

    Hello!

Welcome LDSAFOL! I've enjoyed some MMO games on the pc in the past, but time just hasn't allowed me to play this past year. I will, however, mention that I'm also an AFOL! I don't blog about it or talk about it much, but I enjoy sitting down for a Sunday afternoon build. In fact, I've recently converted my nearly 17-year-old daughter to the same (am I really getting that old?!). She has been loving the modulars, the Castle theme, and soon the Pirate theme. I enjoy the fantasy themes like the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and Castle themes. With Castle now retired, I'll likely give the Pira
  4. I own Talisman both physical and digital versions. I spent many long hours as a kid playing that game and just last year, spent several hours reliving those experiences playing the digital version. I enjoy the game a lot. There is a huge amount of luck and very little strategy to it, though. Possibly the best part of the game is replaying it as a different character each time. Once you've done that though (or quite possibly before), you will become bored quickly.
  5. Ours actually came a few days before Christmas--and of course, our son saw the box with the huge sword on it! Oh well. They are very cool and some of the best foam swords I've ever come across, though a little heavy for him still.
  6. I'm not a fps fan, but I will admit--the videos had me intrigued!
  7. Where am I? Away from gaming mostly. I just don't have the time for it anymore and the time I do have to play, I spend with my son playing the Wii U (Mario Kart 8, Lego Marvel, Disney Infinity, soon Lego Hobbit...). If I had more time, I could see myself playing a little bit here and there, but GW2 just never caught fire with me. Also, my son is just a bit too young still to play so we enjoy console time together. Xbox One purchase in the next few months....hopefully! (Sorry Sony.....I have a hate hate relationship with you! Similar to Samsung...when capacitors on a TV explode just a fe
  8. If anyone has a spare key, I'd love one. I was about to throw $100 towards the Trailblazer pack, but quickly remembered past "lifetime" purchases I've made. After checking the game out, I may end up spending the money anyway.
  9. Me too! 2 Riven swords please.
  10. I would highly suggest the John Carter of Mars books by Edgar Rice Burroughs. While the books do tend to be a series, they stand on their own and it is not required to read the others. I'd highly recommend you do though. Clean and unique.
  11. You may have noticed that the site is undergoing some forum changes. In an effort to eliminate stale forums, some forums are now no longer available due to activity and need. Other forums are being considered for changes and may be moved as either a top-level forum or as a sub-forum. Keep this in mind if you don't see your forum in its usual place--it may have been moved.
  12. Great lists Nikkala! A few of my favorites not already mentioned: Dallyn Vail Bayles (the best LDS singing voice I've ever heard) Jeff Goodrich Hilary Weeks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv8KFGHdJ_k Afterglow (yes, old school and still awesome!)
  13. Just saw this. I'll check it out.
  14. Haven't played the Marvel Legendary Deck, but it is on my wish list. Here's the list of co-ops I own and played: Lord of the Rings Shadows Over Camelot Forbidden Island Ghost Stories Pandemic Pandemic: On the Brink (expansion) Red November Castle Panic Castle Panic: The Wizard's Expansion Of those mentioned above, I really enjoy Castle Panic, Shadows Over Camelot and Pandemic. Castle Panic carries a defend the castle sort of them with various baddies attacking it from all directions. Pandemic was already mentioned above (the expansion throws in another mutating virus and an
